Offshore steel bar gratings usually be made of serrated bearing bars. And there is a round bar between every two bearing bars, the round bars are designed to make denser the mesh, meanwhile, they can increase the load capacity with lower cost than using flat bars.
Offshore Steel Bar Gratings materials: Q235B,Q345B are most often used in China. For sure we can offer other standard materil grade such as S275JR, S275J2, S235,S355 etc.
But we usually advise clients to replace the materials with equivalent Chinese standard because: Firstly steel gratings belong to tertiary steel structure, and usually it is allowed to be replaced with equivalent materilas. Secondly, EN standrads or other standards materials have to be ordered from Steel Mill, it needs about 1.5 months to be delivered to our factory with MOQ 60 tons, meanwhile, Chinese standard Q235B, Q345B, etc. can be purchased from market directly, it will save a lot of time and money if the alternative solution is acceptable.
