CobrePanama is a large-scale open pit copper exploitation project which is located in Donoso District, Provincia de Colón, 120 kilometers west of panama city, 20km off the coast of the Caribbean. The franchise consists of four districts,totally 13,600 hectares, which is said to be the world's largest undeveloped copper mine,this mine. The mine is expected to produce 300, 000 tonnes of copper a year.
